We were referred to Scott Baylis by some neighbors who moved from our neighborhood way back in 2019. He was immediately engaging and open, and his easy-going demeanor sat very well with my wife and me. We naturally thought our relationship would be normal, but the onset of COVID kicked "normal" right out the door. We had originally planned to put our house on the market in the Spring of 2020 but literally one week before we planned to do so, COVID shut down everything and there was an immediate panic. Not knowing what was going to happen, we pushed pause. Scott assured us that he would be with us for as long as it took. And he did just that. When things picked back up, Scott was always available to answer any questions or provide guidance about things we just did not know, and that was a lot because we hadn't purchased or sold a home in more than 20 years. So, a lot had changed. But Scott asked questions we didn't think about and most importantly, told us what to expect at every step of the process. As it was, when we finally closed on the purchase of our new home after waiting 18 months, we had become his longest-ever client. And he helped us quickly sell our home just as the real estate climate went from a burning hot seller's market to a much cooler buyer's one. We can't thank him enough.
